Delfin III Amazon Cruise

The Delfin III is a spacious and stylish river vessel for exploring the incredible biodiversity of the Pacaya Samilira National Reserve in the Amazon, on three or four night programs. It offers 22 suites with the highest levels of comfort for up to 43 passengers. This is the largest vessel in Delfin Amazon Cruise’s fleet – its smaller sister vessels are Delfin I and Delfin II. The ship has an elegant, contemporary design that has been beautifully finished with the finest details, hardwood floors, designer furniture and handmade Peruvian artifacts. The Cabins

There are four room categories in total spread across three decks: Suite, Upper Suite, Corner Suite and Owner’s Suite. On the first deck there are 8 Suites complete with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, as well as 2 spacious Corner Suites facing the front of the ship. The second deck is comprised of 10 Upper Suites and the largest suite of all – the Owner’s Suite.

All suites feature all-natural bath amenities, a nightly turn down service, in-room electronic safe, and individual climate control.

Suite

This is the entry-level category on the Delfin III. There are 8 suites in total, located on the first deck of the ship. Suites have floor-to-ceiling windows for views of the passing scenery.

Upper Suite

There are 10 Upper Suites in total, located on the second deck of the ship. These feature floor-to-ceiling windows for stunning side views as you pass incredible scenery. Cabins include king-size beds and a seating area.

The Corner Suite

There are a total of two Corner Suites on the Delfin III, located on the main deck in the front of the ship offering fantastic views of the river and surrounds, through 90-degree floor-to-ceiling windows. Extra amenities in this cabin include a complimentary 30-minute spa treatment, stocked minibar, complimentary laundry and scented bath on request.

The Owner’s Suite

The Owner’s Suite is the largest cabin, with 56 square meters. Located on the second second deck in the front of the ship, you can take in expansive river views through 180-degree floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows. Extra amenities in this cabin include a complimentary 30-minute spa treatment, stocked minibar, complimentary laundry and scented bath on request.

Sun deck and Spa

By virtue of being the largest vessel in the Delfin fleet – though still an intimate size compared to the largest cruise vessels operating in the Amazon – it has extra space that allows for additional facilities including an outdoor top deck lounge and plunge pool, fitness room, spa and boutique.

The Experience

You can explore the Amazon on board the Delfin III on three or four night programs. Itineraries start in Iquitos, which has direct flights from Lima and Cusco. From here you transfer to Nauta to embark the vessel.  Activities on board include boat trips in skiffs, jungle walks, swimming near dolphins and piranha fishing. English-speaking naturalist Amazon guides will share their expert knowledge of plants and bird life and their watchful eyes will point out elusive wildlife. On your departure day, you will have the chance to visit the ACOBIA Manatee Rescue Center before heading to the airport.
