The Delfin II is a luxurious river cruise which offers first-class standards of accommodation to experience the Amazon in style, on three or four night programs. It offers 14 elegant, air-conditioned suites for up to 30 passengers. With a lecture room on board, the Delfin II occasionally hosts expert-led special departure cruises.
Luxury Cabins
There are two room categories on board the Delfin II: Suite and Master Suite. All suits have over-sized windows for fantastic views of the jungle scenery. There are four Master Suites and 10 Suites. All cabins include premium touches like all-natural bath amenities, binoculars and yoga mats.
Like its sister vessels – four-suite Delfin I and larger Delfin III – the ship has a contemporary design with a firm nod to Peruvian influences. The Delfin II has a strong use of wood in its aesthetic, across floors, walls and ceilings.
Suite
There are 10 suites in total with extra large windows. Four Suites are interconnected to cater to the needs of families.
Master Suite
The four master suites are located at the front of the vessel and all boast 180-degree panoramic windows for watching the views from on board. Additional amenities in Master Suites include a mini-bar, complimentary 30-minute spa treatment and laundry service.
Dining on Delfin II
An expert culinary team provides buffet breakfast and a seated multiple-course lunch and dinner. House wine is complimentary with lunch and dinner in the dining room. Complimenatry speciality coffees, tea, soft drinks, beer, pisco-based cocktails and house liquors are also included in the price.
Facilities
On the third deck there is an observation area with large, comfy sofas and a lecture room kitted out with a projector, game tables and ample seating. The Delfin II is also equipped with a small spa and fitness center. In addition, there is also a small gift shop.
The Experience
You can explore the Amazon on board the Delfin II on three or four night programs. Itineraries start in Iquitos, which has direct flights from Lima and Cusco. From here you transfer to Nauta to embark the vessel. Activities on board include boat trips in skiffs, jungle walks, swimming near dolphins and piranha fishing. English-speaking naturalist Amazon guides will share their expert knowledge of plants and bird life and their watchful eyes will point out elusive wildlife. On your departure day, you will have the chance to visit the ACOBIA Manatee Rescue Center before heading to the airport. There are a maximum of 10 guests per guide on all shore and skiff excursions.
