The journey begins at the Starlodge Adventure Suites base situated at 2875 m / 9433 ft. above sea level, deep in the Sacred Valley. From here, guests will be guided up a scaling stairway secured to the mountainside, attached to a Ferrata set for added safety.
After the exhilarating climb, guests emerge at the spa. Featuring hot tubs sunk into timber terraces hanging over the Valley floor, bathing here is unlike anywhere else on earth. From the wellness facilities, guests will ascend a Tibetan-style bridge, which meets several of the sleeping capsules – each one higher than the other.

The Rooms
The newly designed sleeping pods at Starlodge Adventure Suites have been carefully configured to create spacious and comfortable guest rooms. There are 6 different pods available, each named after the constellations of Inca Astronomy:
- Southern Cross (9,521 ft / 2902 m)
- Baby Llama (9,580 ft / 2919 m)
- The Sheperd (9,613 ft / 2930 m)
- The Fox (9,646 ft / 2940 m)
- The Condor (9,685 ft / 2951 m)
- Orion (9,718 ft / 2981 m)
The sleeping arrangements vary across each of the pods, accommodating a maximum of 4 people per pod and ranging from one queen bed and/or two single beds, or four single beds.
The pods are constructed using transparent glass windows, wood fixtures, and aerospace aluminum. Each has been fitted with running water for a private toilet and sink, and there is electricity too. Showers can be found at the spa facilities, whilst breakfast and dinner are both served below at the base camp.
The Location
Located 30 minutes’ drive from the city of Cusco and 20 minutes’ drive from the town of Urubamba, Starlodge Adventure Suites is nestled in one of the most picturesque parts of the Sacred Valley. Indeed, as guests pull onto the main highway connecting Cusco to the Sacred Valley, the suspended pods can be spotted clinging to the cliff, appearing like glass cocoons protruding from the mountainside.
