Set in a restored 17th century colonial building that has been designated as a La Paz Cultural Monument, La Casona Boutique Hotel is located right in the centre of La Paz, half a block away from San Francisco church and square, with easy access to many historic attractions.
The reception area, ground floor and rooms at the front of the building are in the restored colonial building, and a new block with more rooms has been built behind this, keeping with the colonial style. Rooms feature parquet floors and gabled roofs and each of the 25 rooms is outfitted with standard amenities, including free Wi-Fi, room service, air conditioning and heating.
There is a roof terrace on the third floor with spectacular views overlooking the city. The onsite restaurant serves Mediterranean and regional dishes and a buffet breakfast is offered daily.
