Surrounded by lush gardens, parks and views of the volcanoes surrounding the city, the hotel is located five minutes by car or 15 minutes walking from downtown Arequipa. The common areas of Costa del Sol Wyndham Arequipa are constructed using the city’s classic white volcanic stone, sillar, while the rooms are decorated in a traditional colonial style.
The Amenities
Each of the 88 rooms come complete with wireless Internet access, iPod docking station, LCD television, minibar, and provide guests with access to the gym and sauna, international restaurant, comfortable bar, and 24 hour room service. Guest are also encouraged to take in the beauty of the area relaxing at the pool or perhaps in the hotel’s garden, where they may catch a glimpse of the giant turtle that calls it home. The Rooms
There are 38 superior rooms, and 40 premium rooms (including premium with garden view). The superior rooms are furnished with two full beds or one king bed, a TV, desk, and interior hotel views while the premium rooms are a bit larger and have the same amenities plus a dresser, and exterior garden or street views.
The Suites
There are 4 junior suites, all with interior garden views, a sitting area, and either one king or two full size beds. The 3 colonial suites have a view of the park, a separate living room, and a similarly set up bedroom.
The Misti suite has views of the stunning, nearby volcano while the Libertador suite looks out upon the hotel entrance and Selva Alegre park.
The duplex suite is a two level room. On the first floor is the living room, and up a couple stairs is the king size bedroom. This suite has views of the park.
