A wonderful experience to Peru

A wonderful experience to Peru. There aren’t enough superlatives to describe my wife’s and my four-day trek last month on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu organized by Aracari! The phenomenal vistas and impressive Inca sites visible only from the Trail coupled with the comfort – no, luxury – provided by the remarkable Aracari team of guides, porters and chefs made the trek a highlight of our lives. The food was delicious (and too plentiful) and the team couldn’t do enough to take care of us and meet our every need. Our head guide, Abelardo, was amazing in the depth and breadth of his knowledge and his ability to organize our days to maximum advantage. He was also a wonderful traveling companion.

Aracari’s planning and in-country support were flawless. They chose superb hotels in Lima, the Sacred Valley and Cusco. Their representatives awaited us at every airport arrival and made transfers effortless. Ada, one of Aracari’s reps, wasn’t rattled when Avianca canceled our Lima-Cusco flight while we were checking in. She went into action and, with only minutes to go before departure, she had us on a LATAM flight that got us to Cusco earlier than our initially scheduled arrival time!

Absolutely perfect trip to Peru

Absolutely perfect trip to Peru. Every year, my wife and I travel somewhere fabulous with another couple. This year was a trip to Peru, and we called Hellen to give us ideas and make arrangements. No, we did not rough it! We had a fabulous time in the Sacred Valley, Cusco, Macchu Pichu, Lima, and a 4-night Amazon cruise! Just a note, our flights to the Amazon going there and coming back were cancelled, and could have stranded us if not for the fact that the team at Aracari were right on top of the situation, and aware able to arrange alternatives in and out!

A trip to Peru treated like royalty

A trip to Peru treated like royalty. We have just returned from a two week trip to Peru expertly planned by Hellen. She was exceedingly patient with our many questions, very responsive, and helpful in planning a well paced trip that fit within our budget. From our greeting by Raul at arrival in Lima to our final drop-off for departure, we felt well cared for by all of our guides and professional drivers. Bruce, Jose, and Ronald were wonderful guides and in particular Abelardo went out of his way to be helpful. Thanks for a marvelous trip.

Fabulous trip to Peru and Galapagos. Essentially everything–guides, sites/activities, accommodations, and meals—was really spot on. Without your expert guidance and planning, we would never have been able to plan and execute such a complicated itinerary—way too many moving parts!—and undoubtedly wouldn’t have been able to relax and enjoy the experience as we did.
