Angie Pelosi

Angie is a very enthusiastic and lovely person. She lived in California for 15 years during motherhood and after her children grew up, she started working freelance. Prior to joining Aracari, she led community engagement for the Fugaz Initiative in Monumental Callao for 5 years. In this role, she was responsible for taking visiting tourists around this emblematic heritage site. During the pandemic, she started an NGO to support an economically depressed community that had previously improved its living standards thanks to increasing revenues from tourism until COVID halted tourism.

In her current role at Aracari, Angie enjoys taking guests around Lima to visit Monumental Callao or taking them on an urban food tour to discover amazing hole-in-the-wall bistros or local Peruvian artists in the bohemian Barranco cultural district. Angie’s formidable network in Lima includes the top Peruvian trending artists, who exclusively open their homes for her guests. Our guests unanimously rate her services as exceptional, and many become new lasting friends after experiencing unforgettable moments with her.
